Animal Collective’s Avey Tare (aka Dave Portner) has officially released a new EP, titled Conference of Birds/Birds of Disguise.

According to a press release, “The new EP features studio versions of fan favorites Portner previously debuted at his live shows.”

To get a taste of the release, the producer (and former Mickey Hart collaborator) has shared the project’s nine-plus minute B-Side, “Enjoy The Change.”

Speaking in riddles, Portner describes the new EP as “Early mornings at the bar. Deep conversations with a stranger. A Disney Night parade gone wrong. The White Album is 2 CDs.”
