Mick Jagger has officially completed his heart valve surgery and is reportedly in good spirits. According to Billboard, the “minimally invasive” procedure was performed in New York City, and required a transcatheter aortic valve replacement, or TAVR.

Thankfully, the recovery time for Jagger is short – four to five days – and the TAVR has a 95% success rate.

The news of Jagger’s illness broke on March 30 when the Rolling Stones postponed their “No Filter” tour, which included a cancelled marquee performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage festival.

“I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets, I really hate letting you down like this,” Jagger wrote to fans at the time. “I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on the road as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”

Fleetwood Mac were recently chosen to replace The Stones at Jazz Fest. And Billboard also reports that Jagger and company could make up their slate of postponed performances as soon as this July.
