This Friday, April 5, The Infamous Stringdusters will follow up their Grammy-winning record, 2017’s Laws of Gravity, with their latest studio effort, Rise Sun, and today the band shared a full preview of the album via Relix.com.
“Rise Sun is an album that we needed to make to re-affirm and solidify something we’d been feeling for some time: the desire for togetherness, the desire for hope, the desire for love,” says ‘Dusters dobroist Andy Hall. “These songs represent our best effort at capturing not only those feelings of positivity, but the energy of our live show on a record as well. Those two things together are what make this album unique. We’ve put all our energy of hopeful intention into this project and we hope you can feel it!”
“Rise Sun is the culmination of 12 years of writing and performing together as a band of brothers,” adds bassist Travis Book. “More than ever, we’re collectively oriented toward gratitude, the present and compassion. We have an opportunity to raise the frequency we’re all vibrating on and this record is the result of our desire to elevate our consciousness and the consciousness of those who’re listening.”
