Willie Nelson’s traveling Outlaw Music Festival arrived on the West Coast on Sunday night for the final stop of the tour that kicked off back in late May, with Phil Lesh making his Outlaw Fest debut at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (in 2006, Lesh famously played bass with Ryan Adams & The Cardinals during their opening set for Nelson at the same venue).

Part of a lineup that also featured Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Particle Kid and of course Willie Nelson himself, Lesh was joined by a band comprised of guitarists/vocalists Jackie Greene and Cris Jacobs, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and Midnight North drummer Nathan Graham. The collective ran through Grateful Dead favorites like “Althea,” “Brown-Eyed Women,” “China Cat Sunflower,” a quick-paced “Shakedown Street,” “Sugaree” and more before surprising the crowd with a sit in from Price, who lent her vocals to a cover of Bobby Bland’s “Turn On Your Love Light” to close the set. At the end of Nelson’s headlining set, Lesh and Price also emerged to add vocals to Hank Williams’ classic “I Saw The Light.”

See the full setlist below, along with video from the night, including streams of the latter half both Lesh and Nelson’s sets from Deadheadland.
