Dave Matthews Band have announced they will be welcoming New Orleans icons Preservation Hall Jazz Band as openers for their hometown shows in Charlottesville, VA, this December.

Matthews and company will return to the city where they first came together in the early ’90s for two shows at John Paul Jones Arena December 14 and 15 to close out their 2018 schedule, with Pres Hall handling supporting duties both nights. A portion of the proceeds from the performances will go to support public housing development in Charlottesville. Pres Hall also joined DMB earlier this month during the latter band’s run at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA.

An online DMB fan-club ticket pre-sale for their upcoming tour is currently underway until tomorrow, September 29, at 3pm ET. Another pre-sale for Citi card members will run October 2 at 9am local time through October 4 at 10pm local.

Dave Matthews Band will open their tour on November 27 in Columbus, OH. See the full dates below. More information can be found at the band’s website.
