On Thursday night, Florence, Italy’s Firenze Rocks festival hosted an onstage meeting of bonafide rock stars when headliners Foo Fighters welcomed members of Guns N’ Roses for a raucous rendition of “It’s So Easy” from GNR’s classic Appetite for Destruction album.
The collaboration, which took place in the latter half of the Foo’s set and saw GNR frontman Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan take the stage with the headlining band, with Rose taking over lead vocals and his bandmates absolutely rocking out with Dave Grohl and company. GNR will headline Firenze Rocks tonight.
Last November, Grohl joined GNR on stage in Oklahoma for an encore performance of “Paradise City.” Grohl also lent Rose the traveling rock throne he used when he broke his leg in Sweden when Rose needed it after his own injury.
