God Street Wine will celebrate their 30th anniversary this summer by embarking on a short tour in the eastern portion of the country that will include the group’s first stops in some cities in over 20 years.
GSW’s trek, which will feature the original quintet lineup of Lo Faber, Aaron Maxwell, Dan Pifer, Jon Bevo, and Tom “Tomo” Osander, begins in Chicago on July 29 and also hits venues in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Boston and New York City, where the tour rounds out on August 4.
See the schedule below. Tickets for the shows go on sale April 26 at 3pm ET, with a pre-sale beginning tomorrow, April 24, at 3pm ET with password: modernvintage. More information can be found at the band’s website.
God Street Wine first came together in September 1988 and played more than a thousand shows until their breakup in 1999. The band first reunited for the 2001 farewell show of NYC’s Wetlands and then again in 2009, after which they have come together for sporadic shows.
