Earlier this year we reported that Shpongle would be bringing their Live Band show to Red Rocks this May, but the details are now official. The Shpongle Live Band will be performing at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO on May 10. The Emancipator Ensemble and Minnesota will also be there to open the night.

In addition to the Red Rocks show, various members of the band will also host “An Evening of Twisted Music” at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO on May 9. The show will include a performance by Hallucinogen Live featuring Joe Russo, a Raja Ram DJ set and a set from Prometheus. All tickets and packages for the shows will go on sale this Saturday, December 14.

Shpongle Live Band performances have been a rare treat over the years, as the full ensemble has only played in the United States on three prior occasions. However, frontman Simon Posford often tours the world with his DJ set, using names like the Shpongletron or the Masquerade. As previously reported, Posford recently announced an extensive run of Shpongletron dates in The States.
