Eric Clapton is set to release Give Me Strength: The 1974/1975 Recordings on November 26. The 5 CD/1 Blu-ray box set will feature 88 remastered, remixed, unreleased and live recordings from the sessions that created his albums 461 Ocean Boulevard and There’s One In Every Crowd, as well as his live release E.C. Was Here.

Clapton took a three year hiatus from releasing music following the success of Derek and the Dominos’ 1971 album Layla And Other Assorted Love Song. When the guitarist finally returned, he came back swinging with three releases in the span of a year. Those albums will also be released separately as a 3-LP collection for fans that don’t feel like shelling out the cash for the box set.

The new box set will include a good bit of unreleased material, including outtakes from 461 Ocean Boulevard, There’s One In Every Crowd and E.C. Was Here, a 60-page hardbound book with extensive liner notes and rare photos, The Freddie King Criteria Studio Sessions and more.

Give Me Strength: The 1974/1975 Recordings can be pre-ordered now for $82.76.
