Soul Rebels Brass Band, George Porter Jr. and the Runnin’ Pardners, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Bonerama, Astral Project, Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers, Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra and many more will play the 30th Annual French Quarter Festival in New Orleans April 11-14. The free festival historically kicks off New Orleans’ summer festival season and precedes the much larger (and much pricier) Jazz Fest. For the 30th anniversary, organizers will add new special events to the festival and welcome new restaurants to ‘The World’s Largest Jazz Brunch’. The full lineup for the event, which features over 1,400 musicians on 20 stages throughout the French Quarter, can be viewed here.
