Petty Fest will make its way to The Fillmore in San Francisco on February 27. Following the success of this year’s sold-out events in New York and Los Angeles, it was decided that the special celebration of Tom Petty’s music should be brought to the Bay Area for the first time. Petty Fest San Francisco will feature performances by Nick Valensi of The Strokes, Boz Scaggs, Chuck Prophet, Tom Johnston of The Doobie Brothers, Tim Bluhm of The Mother Hips, Jesse Malin, Kay Mar Superstar, Nicki Bluhm and Jenny O, among others, as well as a few special surprise guests. The artists will be backed by the Cabin Down Below Band. Tickets to Petty Fest San Francisco are currently on sale for $35.
