After months of rumors and speculation, the String Cheese Incident have finally announced a three night New Years Eve run at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, CO. These shows will be the String Cheese Incident’s first New Years Eve concerts since 2006, when the genre bending jamband played Sea of Dreams in San Francisco. They will also be the band’s first shows since their summer tour ended at Hornings Hideout in July. After calling it quits in 2007, SCI reunited for a few shows at places like the Rothbury Music Festival, Red Rocks and Horning’s Hideout before hitting the road again in the fall of 2011 with the Roots Run Deep Tour. New Year’s Eve ticketing information will be released on Friday.
