Yonder Mountain String Band has added a special spring show. The group will perform at Richmond, VA’s the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden on May 24. Yonder will kick off a two-night run at Asheville, NC’s The Orange Peel this evening. As previously reported, prior to the group’s show the band will host a St. Baldrick’s fundraiser from 4-5PM at “Pulp” in The Orange Peel. St. Baldrick’s is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. Longtime Yonder fan Tom Clinge will be shaving and donating his hair for the cause. The band will also be on hand for a meet n’ greet.
