Medeski, Martin and & Wood have collaborated with John Zorn numerous times over the years. In addition to performing his own avant-garde music, Zorn oversees the New York music venue The Stone. MMW will give back to Zorn this holiday season by releasing a new live album in support of his non-profit music venue. Medeski, Martin and Wood’s The Stone: Issue Four captures one of the trio’s recent shows in Japan, including the songs “Tutrasa’I,” “Riffin Ed/Luz Marina,” “Buster Rides Again/Doppler,” “Amber Gris” and “We’re All Connected.” All proceeds from the sale of this limited edition CD will go directly to support The Stone.
