Leftover Salmon’s 20th anniversary celebration continued with the Halloween-themed Zombie Jamboree. The event was held this past Saturday night at Denver’s Fillmore and featured an opening set by Salmon frontman Vince Herman’s other band, Great American Taxi. After a DJ interlude, the members of Leftover Salmon took the stage in a mix of festive zombie costumes to a version of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” The members of Leftover Salmon dressed up musically too, stacking its first set with numerous Halloween covers like “Werewolves of London” and, of course, “Zombie Jamboree.” The band then returned to the stage for a second set that worked in more of the group’s original songs, as well as some additional covers. The members of Elephant Revival, who were playing a nearby post-show party, also emerged during the band’s second set.
