HeadCount and the Gathering of the Vibes have teamed up to host a VIP meet-and-greet with Bob Weir at the festival this summer. The VIP event will take place on July 25 and will include a chance to meet Weir at a private backstage function, watch the RatDog set from the side of the stage, enjoy dinner in the artist catering area and walk away with a limited edition poster signed by the guitarist. Though tickets sold out within hours of Gathering of the Vibes announcing this event, HeadCount is keeping a wait list for interested parties. The voter registration organization is also hosting a VIP event at the Bob Weir & RatDog/moe. shows in Atlanta on July 17 and July 18.
