At approximately 5 PM Thursday evening, Phish wrapped-up its Bonnaroo soundcheck on the festivals main What Stage. The Vermont Quartet will play the massive festival stage on both Friday and Sunday. The only other artist to anchor the What Stage twice in the same year is Widespread Panic, who played Bonnaroos main stage twice in both 2002 and 2005.
Phishs soundcheck could be heard throughout the festival grounds and numerous fans clearly heard tracks like the new Ocolet through the main stages wooden fence. In addition, the band tested out several songs it has not played since reuniting, including Dog Log, Nellie Kane and Funky Bitch. The group also riffed on Llama, but did not fully play the song.
