Long Island-bred U-Melt will kick off its summer tour this evening with a performance in Wantagh, NY following Phish’s show at Jones Beach. The gig will take place at Mulcahy’s, a club which is located across the street from Wantagh’s Long Island Rail Road train station. In addition, U-Melt has also announced some additional summer club dates, including a New York Rock On! Boston Boat Cruise (6/26), a debut at Brooklyn’s Southpaw (6/27) and a return to Troy, NYs Revolution Hall in Troy, NY (7/10). The band will also be busy on the festival circuit, with shows set for The Stonehenge Music Festival (6/19), The Great South Bay Music Festival (7/11), The Somerset County Jam Festival (7/18), Camp Barefoot 3 (8/14), Hempstock Fest (8/20) and Phanphest 5.0 (8/22). Additional summer dates will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
