As reported previously, Saturday night will be the final performance by Honkytonk Homeslice. The group will take the stage in Chico, CA at the El Rey Theater as part of ‘CHICO LIVE! A music and art performance.’ Darol Anger, Tye North and Carlton Jackson will join the group during the HH performance. This will be a fitting collaboration since the three will open the night as Strings for Industry, which also features Honkytonk Homeslice’s Scott Law, while fellow Homeslice member Bill Nershi is currently touring with the quartet. Honkytonk Homeslice began as a duo with Jilian and Bill Nershi before drawing in Law and some other guests, however as of late Law and Nershi have focused on a variety of other endeavors and decided to bring the project to a halt.
