HORDE Tour veterans Freddy Jones Band performed upwards of 200 gigs a year by the close of the 1990s. The group then disbanded only to reunite 5 years later in August 2005 before hometown fans at Chicago’s Riverview Music Festival. Since then the group has performed sporadic dates over the intervening years and on April 14 will release its first album in a decade. Time Well Wasted draws together thirteen songs: ten live tracks recorded in 2007 along with three new tunes. At present FJB has only one upcoming live date, an appearance at Hopefest 2009 at Chicago’s Park West on March 21.
