Dave Matthews Band will return to the road for a month of shows beginning at Madison Square Garden on April 14. That date also will mark the release of DMB’s as-yet-untitled new studio release, the group’s first such effort in four years. On this disc and on the road, the core quartet once again will be joined by Tim Reynolds, Jeff Coffin and Rashawn Ross (following the passing of founding member LeRoi Moore this past summer). After the group’s NYC performance, the band will travel to the South and then out West, including a stop at Jazz Fest, wrapping up the tour with two nights at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 8 and 9. Opening most of the gigs will be The Avett Brothers, although The Roots are on board for the first nights, Old Crow Medicine Show had been tapped for three dates and the Vegas shows also will feature Jason Mraz.
