Once again the Mimi Fishman Foundation is conducting an online auction with the proceeds to benefit Rock the Earth. The current auction features three signed String Cheese Incident concert posters: Greek Theatre (2007), Horning’s Hideout (2007) and Red Rocks (2007). Other signed posters include those from Jam Cruise (2006), Rock the Earth/Acoustic Planet (2004) and Bonnaroo — Social Change Through Music Panel (2008). Also up for auction is an ‘Umphrey’s McGee Rocky Mountain High VIP Experience’ which includes 2 tickets and 2 VIP seating passes (where applicable) to the band’s three Colorado shows in January 2009 along with an Umphrey’s live recording from each show, as well as a merchandise package that includes two t-shirts and stickers. The ‘Shanghai Nights VIP Amazing Experience’ offers 2 VIP tickets to the New Year’s Eve show at Portland, OR’s Wonder Ballroom with Moseley/Law/Sipe/Droll and EOTO, which includes the opportunity to meet the musicians, as well as access to the Shanghai Chill Zone below the Wonder Ballroom, three drink tickets, one commemorative event poster, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, along with ‘Participation in midnight ‘Shanghai Surprise’. What does this mean exactly? Well….it will include some kind of fun job like pulling a rope or flashing a light, maybe shaking a noise maker or something. You will participate somehow…and it will be fun!!’ The auction is now underway and bidding will continue through December 2.
