Tonight in Budapest, Hungary John Scofield and The Piety Street Band will open a three week tour. The group also includes George Porter Jr. on bass along with drummer Ricky Fataar and Jon Cleary on keyboards and vocals. The quartet will travel throughout Europe, closing things out with a December 4 gig on Spain’s Canary Islands. Along the way, Porter will be posting regular reports from the road. His first brief installment, which touches on travel arrangements and meals, is now posted to his message board.
