Umphreys McGee is currently two shows into a three-night run at New Yorks Blender Theater. As expected, while in town the group caught up with some old friends and, Tuesday night, Matisyahu keyboardist Rob Marscher stepped in for a version of 40’s Theme at the end of the groups second set. Marscher first befriended the members of Umphreys McGee while performing in Addison Groove Project and has collaborated with the group a number of times over the years, including at the groups fabled CBGB performance. Umphreys McGee will close its run with another performance at the Blender this evening.
