As he has a handful of times over the past year, Michael Kang will perform with his former String Cheese Incident bandmates Michael Travis and Jason Hann next week. The mandolin wiz will sit in with the drummers throughout EOTOs September 19 show at San Franciscos Mojito in North Beach. Kang has increased his hometown profile in recent months, sitting in with a variety of acts throughout the Bay Area. Meanwhile, Hann and Travis will perform Steve Kimock and Jamie Janover as Praang both this coming Friday and Saturday at Laytonville, CAs Earthdance.
