B Fleck & the Flecktones next release is the holiday record Jingle All The Way. The CD will be released September 30 on Rounder, featuring appearances by guest elves Edgar Meyer, clarinetist Andy Statman and the Tuvan Throat Singers. Produced by Fleck, Jingle All The Way finds the Flecktones running through a variety of both traditional and modern Holiday recordings, ranging from J.S. Bachs Christmas Oratorio #41 to Silent Night to The Hanukkah Waltz to Joni Mitchells River. The Flecktones just wrapped up a few support dates for the seminal fusion outfit Return to Forever and will regroup for a U.S. tour scheduled to kick off at Spokane, WA Spokane Symphonys on November 15.
