Susan Tedeschi has recruited a handful of familiar faces her first studio album since 2005s Hope & Desire. The as-yet-untitled release is read scheduled to hit stores this fall on Verve Records, featuring both appearances and songwriting contributions from Tedeschis husband Derek Trucks, as well as The Jayhawks Gary Louris, Tony Joe White and Doyle Bramhall II. The album was produced by George Drakoulias at Hollywood, CAs legendary Sunset Sound Studios, the famed location where the Beach Boys worked on Pet Sounds and the Rolling Stones recorded portions of Exile on Main St.. Tedeschi will appear at Telluride, COs Telluride Town Park on September 12.
