The Charlie Hunter Trio will spend August in the Northeast. Once there, Hunter, Erik Deutsch and Tony Mason will swiftly become familiar with three venues. Over the course of the month, the band will put in residencies at clubs in New York City, Albany and Philadelphia. On every Wednesday in August, the trio will appear in NYC at Drom. On Thursdays, the band will travel up to Albany for shows at Red Square. Finally, the Charlie Hunter Trio will appear at Philadelphia’s World Cafe Live, three times during on the month: on Saturday August 2, Friday August 8 and Friday August 15. The fall will then see the group heading over to Europe for a series of dates.
