Jambands.com is sad to report that studio-wizard Scotty Hard, who has worked with the likes of with MMW, Club d’Elf, Bill Laswell and DJ Logic, was injured in a car accident Friday night. Hard is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at New Yorks Bellevue Hospital and, like many musicians, does not have health insurance. At the time of the accident, Hard was returning home from a late night mixing session to finish a new record when another car crashed broadside into his car. His condition is serious, including fractures of his clavicle, rib, shoulder blade and back. Friends and fans can help by making a donation to ‘Scott Harding c/o Tom Camuso via Kim Danyluk, 6066 54th Street, Maspeth, NY 11378. Donations will help Hard during his recovery process.
