Coachellas long rumored eastern counterpart will take place from August 8-10, 2008. The festival, which will be known as the All Points West Music & Arts Festival, will take place in New Jerseys Liberty State Park and feature a similar multi-stage setup to Coachella, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza. While no official statement has been made, Radiohead and Jack Johnson are rumored to headline the event. Radiohead performed at Liberty State Park shortly before the September 11th terrorist attacks. The outdoor venue, which is accessible from New York City by water taxi, is located just across the water from the World Trade Center site. All Points West will take place the same weekend at New Jerseys Vineland festival, which will feature a similarly electric lineup.
