February 29 arrives just once every four years and given the curious, quirky nature of the day itself, it seems fitting that Les Claypool will open his 2008 tour on that Friday. Charlotte’s Neighborhood Theatre will be the site of the first gig, after which Claypool and his band will travel to the South, including a stop at Langerado and then travel through the Southwest and Midwest before wrapping up the tour at the Warfield in San Francisco on April 5th. As the bassist revealed in his recent site interview with Randy Ray, he will perform in a trio for these dates with Skerik and Mike Dillon.
