David Nelson will be traveling to Hawaii for a series of shows in late January and early February with some of his steady collaborators. Barry Sless, Pete Sears and Mookie Siegel will perform as David Nelson & Friends and initially it appeared that the band would be completed by drummer John Molo. However, the drummer is unable to join the group in Hawaii, so stepping behind the kit will be island resident Bill Kreutzmann. The Rhythm Devil will be on board for all six scheduled shows, which will begin on January 26 in Kona and conclude in Maui on February 2.
