This evening the 5th annual Mark Vann Foundation Benefit will take place at Colorados Boulder Theater on December 14. The roster of performers for the event, which pays tribute to the life of the Leftover Salmon co-founder Mark Vann, has just been announced. Tonight’s show will build on Vann’s motto ‘Go Big,’ to feature a ‘Go Big with Wigs’ theme, encouraging everyone to wear their favorite wig and/or 70s attire. Music will be provided by Vann’s Leftover Salmon bandmate Vince Herman and his current group Great American Taxi, as well as Honkytonk Homeslice, Tim Carbone, Reed Foehl, Sally Van Meter, New Rank Strangers and many others. The night also will include a silent auction, raffles, and an art fair with proceeds to benefit the foundation’s efforts ‘to serve community based non-profit organizations bringing light, love, and laughter into the lives of those in need through nature, music, and the arts; and to provide a conduit for kindhearted people with similar values to nurture impactful positive change within their own communities.’
