This evening when Porter Batiste Stoltz takes the stage at Club Metronome in Burlington, a familiar face will join the proceedings as well. Phish keyboardist Page McConnell will appear with George Porter Jr., Russell Batiste Jr. and Brian Stoltz for a portion of their performance. McConnell has a longstanding relationship with Batiste, who was part of his Vida Blue trio. In addition, McConnell recorded with Porter, Batiste, Mike Gordon and Art Neville as the Gyptians on the Get You A Healin’ benefit disc back in 1999.
