The Black Crowes returned to Morrison, COs Red Rocks Amphitheatre this Sunday on their late summer tour. Once again the North Mississippi Allstars supplied support duties and once again guitarist Luther Dickinson stepped up to jam with the evenings headliner. Dickinson took the reins on two songs, ‘My Morning Song’ and Johnny Winters ‘Mean Town Blues,’ near the end of the Black Crowes performance. As previously reported, Dickinson appears on the Black Crowes forthcoming album. The group will appear at Telluride, COs Brews & Blues Festival on September 16.
