Stephen Perkins Banyan headlined Hempstock 2007 over this past weekend in Starks, Maine. The groups Saturday evening performance, which also included moe.s Jim Loughlin, drew in two guest players from the festival line-up. Brothers Joe and Chris Plante from The Brew stepped for an improvised segment on bass and keys. Banyan is currently in the Midwest., with a show tonight at The Waiting Room in Omaha, NE. Meanwhile, The Brew will next perform this coming weekend at PhanPhest 3.0 and then will begin a Wednesday residency at Burlington, VT’s Nectars, starting on September 5.
