The Last Waltz Ensemble, which interprets the music of Bob Dylan and The Band, has confirmed a number of upcoming shows with additional guest players. This Saturday, August 18, the group will appear at Zydeco in Birmingham, AL with Tishamingo’s Jess Franklin & Cameron Williams. The following weekend, Outformations CR Gruver will join for a pair of North Carolina dates: August 24 at the Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh and August 25 at The Soap Box in Wilmington. Looking ahead to September, Oliver Wood (The Wood Brothers) and Ted Pecchio (Susan Tedeschi Band) will appear with the Ensemble in Athens at The Georgia Theatre on the 13th. Then on September 30, Wood will return along with the Dirty Dozen Brass Bands Efrem Towns and Kevin Harris at the Big Spring Jam in Huntsville AL.
