Legendary producer, and North Mississippi Allstars family patriarch, James Luther Dickinson will release his next album, Killers From Space, on September 18. The disc features tracks recorded over an extended period and includes contributions from his sons, North Mississippi Allstars founders Luther and Cody Dickinson. Paul Taylor, who played bass in the Dickinson Brothers pre-North Mississippi Allstars group DDT, also appears on Killers From Space. The disc will be released on Memphis Int’l, marking the first time Dickinson has released two consecutive albums on the same label. Meanwhile, the North Mississippi Allstars will open for the Black Crowes New Yorks Central Park SummerStage tonight.
