The Allman Brothers Band closed out the second of the three Evening With shows it will offer this summer last night at Bostons Bank of America Pavilion. Like the groups performance at the venue a night earlier, Susan Tedeschi was on hand and stepped in to lend her vocal might to Bob Dylans Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright and The Weight. As usual, the group also shuffled its setlist a bit between its two Boston gigs, offering songs like Midnight Rider, Desdemona, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed and Mountain Jam, which included a Dazed and Confused jam. While the group did offer Dreams for the second night in a row, the band switched things up, awarding the songs trademark guitar solo to Derek Trucks instead of Warren Haynes (who took the reins on the song on night one).
The Allman Brothers Band will appear at Charlotte, NCs Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre tomorrow.
