Umphreys McGee may be taking a rare break from the road this week, but that doesnt mean the members of the group have stopped gigging. Tonight Kris Myers will play a show with his trio at Chicagos Webster’s Wine Bar and tomorrow the drummer will perform at Martyrs as part of the Brian Felix Quartet. The quartet also includes Kick the Cat bassist Chris Clemente, Hack n Wheeze guitarist Mike Pinto and its namesake, who played keyboards in OM Trio. This weekend members of Umphreys McGee and the New Deal will also team for a series of shows as The Omega Moos.
