Tonight, lauded guitar inventor Les Paul will celebrate his 92nd birthday with a pair of performances in New Yorks Iridium. Paul will play two shows with his ensemble, which features piano player John Colianni, guitarist Lou Pallo and bassist Nicki Parrott, at 8 and 10 PM. While not the star studded spectacle of his 90th birthday party, which took place at Carnegie Hall and featured appearances by Peter Frampton and Derek Trucks, Paul will likely being a few guests to the stage for his special performance. Despite his age, Paul remains incredibly busy, performing at Iridium each Monday throughout the year.
