Disco Biscuits drummer Allen Aucoin celebrated a birthday in his new home city of Philadelphia on Friday night. Fittingly, he was offered some Brotherly Love by Umphreys McGee, who invited him onto the stage to mark the occasion. Aucoin appeared during the Jimmy Stewart improvisational segment that took place mid-way through the group’s second set. UMs Kris Myers stepped away from his kit during that potion of the show, yielding his drums to the birthday boy. Similar collaborations aplenty can be expected later this summer when the Disco Biscuits and Umphreys McGee join forces on their summer D.U.M.B tour.
