Last night at the Dobson Ice Arena in Vail, the String Cheese Incident wrapped up what may possibly be its final Winter Carnival tour. The group drew some rare songs back into the rotation for the occasion, including covers of the Grateful Deads Shakedown Street (with some Slipknot teases tossed in for good measure) and Bob Dylans Tangled Up In Blue, both of which the band had only performed on one prior instance. Fellow Colorado native Drew Emmitt appeared with the band on Tangled Up In Blue, and also Salt Creek which preceded the Dylan song at the start of set two. The evening closed with an extended encore that began with Jellyfish and segued into Glory Chords which led to Black Clouds, Boo Boo’s Pikanic and finally I Know You Rider. The next confirmed Incident is at the Bonnaroo Music Festival on June 15.
