On Monday night at New York Citys Ace of Clubs, Jason Crosby performed an extended night of music. The evening opened with Crosby and his current solo band (many of these players appear on his four chords and seven notes ago disc). After this, Crosby was joined by his current bandleader, Robert Randolph, and members of the Family Band for a set of music. Finally, the Crosby Band regrouped for a set that also featured a guest appearance by Oteil Burbridge, who traveled down to the gig following his show at the Beacon Theatre (Burbridge appears on Crosbys debut release, Out of the Box). Next up for Crosby is a series of shows with Randolph and the Family Band, starting with a gig at Athenss Georgia Theatre on March 29.
