Over the weekend, the Dave Matthews Band offered a rare pair of one-off shows at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Arena. As a treat, the group offered a number of long shelved covers on Friday, including the Zombies’ ‘Time of the Season’ and Daniel Lanois’ ‘The Maker,’ and debuted Lanois’ ‘Still Water’ Saturday (though Matthews has played the latter number on occasion with Tim Reynolds). The group brought back to of its earliest numbers, ‘I’ll Back You Up’ and ‘Halloween,’ after some time in retirement. Dave Matthews Band will tour Australia in April.
