Bassist Rob Wasserman will appear with his daughter Sara tonight in Austin as part of the citys SXSW music conference. The Wassermans will be joined by keyboardist Randy Emata and perform selections from Saras growing catalogue. The event will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn, kicking off the multi-day conference. The younger Wassermans song ‘You Got Me’ will also be played on the ABC television show Falcon Beach this spring. As previously reported, site editor Dean Budnicks documentary Wetlands Preserved: The Story of an Activist Rock Club will screen at the Austin Convention Center as part of SXSW both tonight , March 14, at 9PM and Saturday, March 17, at 2PM.
