Addison Groove Project opened its farewell tour Saturday at South Burlington, VT’s Higher Ground. U-Melt supplied support duties and brought out the AGP horn section of Ben Groppe and Dave Adams and keyboardist Rob Marshcher for its original song ‘Air.’ During AGP’s second set Jennifer Hartswick also appeared on Maceo & the Macks’ ‘Cross The Tracks’ and Tower of Power’s ‘What Is Hip?’ Both U-Melt and AGP will return to the stage this Thursday: U-Melt will perform at Newmarket, NH’s The Stone Church, while AGP will appear at New York’s Mercury Lounge.
