Yosi Piamenta will draw together the Yonrico Scott Band to back him for his latest Heavenly Jams Band performance. Scotts group consists of the three players who anchor the Derek Trucks Band, as the drummer is joined by keyboard player/flautist Kofi Burbridge and bassist Todd Smallie. Piamenta, an eminent guitarist in the world of religious Jewish music, has been called the Hassidic Hendrix for his frenetic style. The initial version of the Heavenly Jams Band arose from a collaboration between Piamenta and Kofis brother Oteil. The show will take place next Thursday January 11 at Club 29 in Decatur, GA.
