This past April, Martin Sexton joined the Assembly of Dust for a performance at New York Citys Cutting Room, during which he performed a set of his own music and then joined Reid Genauer and Company for some selections. On Friday night at Bostons Paradise the musicians shared the stage once again at the close of AODs first set. In addition to a version of Lovelight which they played at the April 21 show, they also joined forces for Van Morrisons Caravan, Led Zeppelins Hey, Hey What Can I Do and James Browns I Feel Good. Over the next two nights, also at the Paradise, AOD focused on its own material, some of which will appear on its forthcoming Recollection studio effort, along with a cover of Oasiss Champagne Supernova on December 30 and David Bowies Space Oddity, which rang in the New Year on December 31.
