Next weekend Topaz will take the stage in San Francisco, with the The Left-Coast Allstars. These shows on December 28 and 29 at San Franciscos Boom Boom Room also will feature area musicians Will Bernard, Brian Jordan, Dale Fanning, Anthony Farrell, Adam Theis and Joe Cohen. Tomorrow night in New York City, the sax player will enlist some New York-based players. The roster for his Saturday December 23 performance at Fontana’s on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, includes drummer Joe Russo, RANAs Scott Metzger and Matisyahu keyboardist Borahm. These are the final three headlining gigs of 2006 for the Austin native, who is expected to release a new disc in 2007.
